Stacy Atwater Jones
The Beginning Years
Stacy Atwater Jones is redefining women’s and youth programming bringing health, hope, and healing to women and youth who have experienced great loss and set backs in their lives. Stacy developed a foundation of leadership at an early age. Her father would always say, she could sale anything to anybody. This skill would shape her leadership in her latter years.
Stacy matriculated at Morgan State University, graduating in 1993 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She was recognized for her exceptional teaching as a student teacher and received an open contract from Howard County Public School System where she would go on to teach first grade that same year. After two years of successful teaching, Stacy was promoted to First Grade Team Leader, leading a team of 4 seasoned teachers. Stacy was astonished by her appointment , having only taught for two years , but trusted Gods plan for her life and her Principal who recognized the gift of leadership in her.
In 1996 Stacy’s mother, was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Soon after, Stacy made the difficult decision to resign from her position as teacher/team leader to support her mom. Little did she know this decision would change the trajectory of her life and career.
Stacy accepted a position as Career Counselor at Woodland Job Corps Center in 1998 and was quickly promoted to management. Her Job Corps career spanned 17 years serving in several Director and Corporate positions. Unbeknownst to her, her Job Corps experiences were preparing her to step into business ownership.
An Idea is Born
In 2015 , after managing career and serving as primary caregiver to her father, Stacy retired from the Job Corps program to become a full time caregiver. It was then that she felt the call to launch a health and wellness business. Having over 20 years of combined education and workforce development experience, she began to develop a holistic health and wellness brand.
Hence, Transformations Health and Healing was born. Stacy, being a strong advocate for proper training and equipping, pursued multiple certifications in the health and wellness industry. She currently holds a Personal Trainer, Senior Fitness , Cancer Exercise Specialist, Exercise Therapist, MS Fitness and Wellness, Nutritionist, Personal Care, and Alzheimer’s Care Certifications from International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA )and Caregiver University. Her mission is to transform one life at a time in a non-judgmental, prescriptive, and supportive way.
From Transformations
to Women of Wholeness
Stacy's successful launch of Transformations Health and Healing ignited her passion for empowering women in their holistic development. This led to the establishment of Women of Wholeness, an interactive Bible study that offers a supportive environment for women to gain motivation, strength, and encouragement in their spiritual journeys.
Through her unwavering commitment, Women of Wholeness was officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2020, providing programs and services dedicated to transition, wellness, and spiritual wholeness.
Expansion to
Wholeness Corporation
In 2022, Stacy led the organization through a rebranding to better encapsulate the breadth of its offerings.
Through this expansion, Wholeness Corporation is dedicated to offering health programs specifically designed for women navigating life's challenges , alongside career initiatives that pave the way to independence. These expanded services now include programs for youth and men, reflecting her commitment to fostering a holistic approach to well-being for all.
While the name may have changed, Stacy's unwavering mission to empower youth and women through impactful career and wellness programs—fostering physical, financial, and emotional well-being—remains steadfast.
