Sisters Helping Sisters

BUILDING A VILLAGE OF SUPPORT

A Village of Women. A Continuum of Care. A Sisterhood That Stays.

At Wellness Bridge Foundation, we believe healing happens in community. A diagnosis may feel isolating , but you do not have to move through it alone.

Sisters Helping Sisters is our survivor-centered support network designed to surround women with presence, practical help, and shared strength from diagnosis through recovery and survivorship.

This is not clinical care.
This is compassionate care — woman to woman.

Survivor Support Circle

Our facilitated survivor support groups provide a safe, affirming space for women in active treatment and those navigating survivorship. Here, women can speak honestly, process openly, and draw strength from others who truly understand.

No fixing.
No pretending.
Just shared resilience and authentic connection.

Peer Sister Mentorship

Be thoughtfully paired with a survivor who has walked a similar path.

This mentorship is rooted in lived experience , offering insight, empathy, and steady encouragement from someone who understands the emotional and practical realities of the journey.

It is support shaped not by theory, but by experience a sister walking beside you with perspective, compassion, and hope.

Recovery Sister

After surgery, when vulnerability is highest and the early days of healing feel overwhelming, a Recovery Sister provides in-home, non-medical companionship.

She may sit with you for a few hours, offer conversation or quiet presence, assist with light comfort measures, and provide emotional reassurance during the initial recovery period.

A Recovery Sister does not replace clinical care — she complements it by offering steady, compassionate support when it is needed most.

Because healing is not only physical — it is emotional, too.

Family Support Sister

During treatment, many women continue carrying the responsibilities of motherhood while managing fatigue, appointments, and recovery.

A Family Support Sister helps bridge that gap. She may:
• Sit with your children during treatment days
• Support light daily routines
• Offer reassurance to little ones
• Create space for you to focus on healing

Because no mother should have to choose between treatment and caring for her children.

SURVIVOR MEET-UPS

Healing extends beyond clinical appointments and treatment plans. Our Survivor Meet-Ups provide structured opportunities for connection outside of the medical setting.

We host wellness walks, creative workshops, seasonal gatherings, and community events designed to support emotional well-being, peer connection, and social engagement.

These gatherings create space for survivors to strengthen relationships, build community, and reconnect with life beyond treatment in a supportive, affirming environment.
