MARIAN'S MAMMORIDE
ELIMINATING BARRIERS TO TRANSPORTATION
Free Transportation to Breast Cancer Appointments
Walk by Faith stays by your side from diagnosis to remission.
Your Road to Recovery Begins Today
At Walk by Faith, we are committed to supporting you every step of the way to your road to recovery. We understand that getting to and from breast cancer appointments can be challenging, which is why we've partnered with Uber Health to provide free transportation for residents of Maryland and surrounding areas. With our ride assistance program, you can focus on receiving quality care and medical attention without worrying about the cost of transportation. Let us help you on your journey to remission.
How Does It Work?
Access breast healthcare services with our cost-free riding assistance program.
To get started, simply fill out the request form or book a consultation with our MammoRide Coordinator. Our program representative will guide you through the enrollment process and teach you how to schedule free transportation to your breast cancer appointments based on your unique needs. Once you're enrolled, our ride coordinator will contact you to authorize your scheduling of Uber Health rides. Please notify us about upcoming appointments 24 hours before the scheduled time so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Need a Companion for the Ride?
You don’t have to deal with everything alone.
The Sisters Helping Sisters program goes beyond providing transportation to breast cancer appointments. Our trained Patient Advocates will be there with you during your screening, breast exams, and follow-up visits to offer support, coordinate rides, and even pick up prescriptions. You don't have to face this journey alone.
Direct Breast Cancer Support Services
We offer a range of services to support women throughout their breast cancer journey. Our Patient Advocates provide emotional support and free access to our breast healthcare support services from the moment of diagnosis.
We prioritize wellness by offering holistic services such as nutrition and fitness throughout the path of recovery. Our dedicated volunteers are also available to help with practical tasks like escorting to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and chores. Our ultimate goal is to bring Help, Hope, and Healing to patients, survivors, and their compassionate caregivers.
